Celebrating 10 Years as a UNESCO Global Geopark

On September 23rd, 2014, Tumbler Ridge proudly earned the distinction of a Global Geopark, supported by UNESCO. This milestone marked the beginning of a journey dedicated to preserving and promoting the unique geological heritage of the region.

This past weekend, the Geopark celebrated a decade of achievements with a special BBQ event. This gathering not only commemorated their 10th anniversary but also highlighted the continuous efforts towards their mission and strategic priorities.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the entire community, partners, funders, volunteers, and staff. The unwavering support has been crucial in reaching this milestone.
