    The Cascades

    The Cascades are a collection of ten magnificent waterfalls that cascade over rock ledges, creating a landscape that must be seen to be believed. The challenging multi-day hike will take you through serene pools and rocky terrain, leading to an unforgettable adventure.

    Bergeron Falls

    Be awed by the grandeur of Bergeron Falls, a breathtaking waterfall that towers over 100 meters tall. Marvel at its mesmerizing horseshoe-shaped bowl, which provides a stunning backdrop for the waterfall's magnificent plunge.

    Quality Falls

    Take a peaceful stroll to Quality Falls, a charming waterfall located near town and one of the Geopark’s most visited sites. The trail is a manageable, short and easy journey, leading to an inviting area of geological wonders.

    Flatbed Falls

    Located conveniently near town, Flatbed Falls offer a range of scenic adventures. Take a leisurely walk upstream to unwind at the overhang rock, or explore the tranquil pool. Downstream, you can lounge at the mini falls and bask in the serenity of nature.

    Babcock Falls

    A short hike through the forest and subalpine meadows leads to Babcock Falls, an 8-meter-high waterfall that plunges from a sandstone cliff into a sparkling pool below. Wooden boardwalks guide visitors through the unique wetland surrounding the falls.

    Barbour Falls & Nesbitt's Knee Falls

    Barbour Falls, named after Harry Barbour, offers a convenient path and a side-trail leading to a peaceful pool and smaller falls above the main falls. Nesbitt's Knee Falls trail is a nature lover's paradise, winding through a lush and serene forest.

    Tepee Falls

    Teepee Falls cascades 15 meters into a chaotic valley of boulders and sandstone, and is one of the many tributaries of the Murray River. The trail is a relaxing journey that winds its way through lush spruce and aspen forests, offering periodic views of the tranquil Murray River.

    Bullmoose Falls

    Bullmoose Falls is a hidden gem that never fails to awe visitors on every visit. An easy, short trail, it makes a great addition to other day hikes in the area. It is a spectacular destination in the winter as well and is a popular choice for snowshoeing and ice climbing.

    Red Deer Falls

    Located in the Wapiti area, Red Deer Falls provide great mountain and canyon scenery, and are most often accessed by off-road vehicles. Other points of interest in the area are Wapiti River, Onion Lake and Warner Lake.
