1st Annual Mine Rescue Competition

Over the weekend, Conuma Resources hosted its first Mine Rescue Competition at the Conuma town office parking lot in Tumbler Ridge. The event kicked off at 10am and wrapped up around 3:30pm. Four teams, representing each mine site, competed in challenges like First Aid, Rope Rescue, Fire, and Vehicle Extraction.

Conuma was kind enough to provide event shirts, while the Lion’s Club served up a delicious BBQ lunch. The sidelines were filled with community members cheering on the teams. A big thanks to Conuma for organizing this event, and we're eagerly looking forward to next year's competition!
