Game of Thrones - 5 Year Anniversary

In March of 2019, a promotional contest for the final season of Game of Thrones led to the concealment of six thrones worldwide. One of these thrones was surprisingly uncovered in Tumbler Ridge, much to the astonishment of local fans and community members.

Kevin and Birgit Sharman, residents of Tumbler Ridge, stumbled upon the throne during a cross-country ski trip to Babcock Creek. Kevin shared, "My wife and I immediately headed out... and as we approached, there it was, the throne placed right beside the creek!"

News of the discovery quickly spread, attracting hundreds of people over the following week who eagerly seized the opportunity to claim the throne for themselves.
